We are now a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher  (Community MAR) this enables us to refurbish IT equipment (computer systems complete with operating systems and application software) on your behalf to eligible recipients.

"The primary goal of the Community MAR programme is to increase the number of low-cost computers available to eligible charitable organisations, eligible academic users, and other community users. In addition, the Community MAR programme benefits the environment by helping to prevent the premature disposal of computers that could be reused".

Every year throughout the world, millions of fully-functional computers are thrown away. The Community MAR programme works with refurbishment organisations to help prolong the useful life of this equipment and help ensure that it reaches those in need of affordable access to technology.

Making a donation of computers to Charity can reduce your disposal and storage costs, (from as little as £15 per computer). There is legislation and responsibilities to be considered when making donations of electrical equipment. Some donation companies charge up to £40.00 to the receiving charity. We charge £15.00. This  includes testing, data wiping, warranties, technical support and our obligations under the sale of goods act. it is normal practice to charge this to the receiving charity. This also ensures donations are valued and it goes to worthy causes
